25/12/13
Dear Electra,
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Even though if you're not Catholic, do you still celebrate Christmas? I hope I don't offend you though. I hope you had a lovely day today! I sure did. My family and I threw a party at the house today and it was so FUN! We kids and teens played outside all day and the adults chilled inside the house. We exchanged gifts too and I got a green umbrella; a cookbook; a make-up bag (not putting make-up in it because I'm not ready for it yet); a notebook, necklace, and a note pad from Regina; and another notebook for myself. You obviously know that Gwen is in India and that we haven't talked ever since the last full day of school (same goes for some of my friends).
Gotta find out something private. Talk to you soon.
Marian

Letters to Electra: What was Your Favourite Part of Today?
Dear Electra,
What was your favourite part of today? It kind of sounds like Dora if you ask me. I got inspired by Bubzbeauty, a beauty guru and vlogger on Youtube. She was filming an AskBubz video and there was a question from a subsciber that asked, "What question would you like to receive?" to which Bubz (her real name is Lindy) replied, "I would love to answer what I would ask people usually, which is 'what was your favourite part of today?'. It just makes me and others feel thoughtful and grateful about their day"
So I asked my parents (because I had nobody else to talk to) and my mother said, "It's the every moment spent with you, dad and baba" (my sister). That made me smile like crazy with a capital K.
Then I asked my father, and he said that he loved breakfast. Probably it was because he cooked it and it was his speciality, which was oatmeal. I wasn't there because I was sleeping in, but it must've been an awesome time because everybody loved it when he cooked for us, especially mother.
So, Electra, what was your favourite part of the day? I bet it was having that picnic lunch because Charlotte told me about it and mentioned that the meatloaf was "delectable" and everybody was around the backyard.
I hope that you had a very nice day today. See you!

What Does Your Name Mean to You? - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (5)
Harrow! How are you all going? Hope all is well! ♡
I saw a post on Facebook published by my favourite page, Writer's Write. Here's what the post said (it was actually a picture):
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=658958777464780&set=a.599260846767907.1073741825.175634409130555&type=3&theater
I got really inspired by that writing prompt that I made an attempt to write a piece. I decided to write what it meant to me and leave what it actually meant because I couldn't be bothered to search the definition.
What Does Your Name Mean?
Marian. Shivers go down my spine as I think of that name. Why Marian? I prefer my nickname Maui, or even the short for my name, Mari. My parents said that Marian came from the Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven and the mother of Jesus. It's because I came from a Catholic family, and once I believed that I was named after a famous actress and model from the Philippines named Marian Rivera and my idol, Marina*, but sadly, I asked my parents and they said no (they weren't famous until the late 20's). I still laugh at that thought.
Hmm, maybe Marian is not such a bad name after all. I mean, at least it has a story and a definition to it. Some people want to have a different name. I've heard of people changing their names and it costs them fortunes to change it. I've gotta be thankful for my very soft but empowering name, which is Marian.

Letters to Electra: Hey! Where are You?
Dear Electra,
I've lost contact of my friends, especially Regina and obviously Gwen (since you visit my blog MEDL I think you know where she is). I miss the YMC/The Three Musketeers! It was so fun spending my year with them. Gwen is going to an accelerated class next year, Regina might be in another class because if you hang with specific people in your class that means you and the friend/s might become separated, which leaves me to hang out with different people.
~ ~ ~ ~
ELECTRAAAA!
I HAVE TO MEET NEW PEOPLE!
NOOO!
Wait, that's how I met the YMC! Ohhh! Stupid me. Sorry that you have to cope with this Electra.
Besides not being in touch with friends, I have been drowning in books and sleep during the holidays. Here are the books I've been reading:
Bummer. I have to go now, Electra. Bedtime.

Violetta - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (4)
"What's running in your mind now, Marian?"
Well, what do you think guys? Look at the post title:
Yes, my current favourite show, Violetta! It may be all in Spanish, but I can still understand some Español.
If you visit Marian's Everyday Life, you might already know about my crazy obsession about the Disney show.
I'm in a rush to get this Natalie's Nook post to be published. Thanks for reading an bye!

Letters to Electra: The Near is End...
Dear Electra,
I can't believe it. I really can't handle what I'm feeling now. Grrr.
NEXT WEEK IS THE LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL FOR 2013.
Electraaaaaa! Can you please speak to the Ministry of Education about this?!?
Never mind, might as well live with it. Everything has an end, I guess.
Next year, I'm gonna be in year eight and there's gonna be an accelerate class. I'm not in it, and I don't really mind it. Gwen is gonna be in it, and I feel like we're not gonna talk much the same as I think of Regina. I got told by one of my friends that if you hang out too much with your best friends in class, you'll be split apart. My gosh.
Electra, can you build a time machine for me? I really would like to travel back to my most embarrassing moments and fix them up, and relive the happy memories. Even thinking about it makes me sad!
I really want to visit my friends or invite them over if I get the chance, but for most of them I don't have their contact details! Grr... I want to talk to the jocks over the holidays. I wonder what they will be up to...
Pffttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt
I have to go now. I have to attend a Christmas party. And I forgot that Christmas was coming! All this stress over the holidays made me forget about Christmas. I wonder what we'll do for the season...
Bye Electra!

Letters to Electra: Meet my Nemisis: Exams!
Dear Electra,
Exams will be the reason why I will post lousy topics on my blog and even postpone my blog topics. I'm doing my speech tomorrow and I haven't even written it down on cue cards, or organised my speech thoroughly. Guess what my speech is about though? You and MEDL! It's not that brilliant of an idea because nobody knows about it. But you will be featured because this blog will be visible on the projector, and so will MEDL. I'm scared, because everyone (except the absentees) in my class will be listening. I hate public speaking. It makes me feel so uncomfortable and awkward. The only way I can express my emotion for this is through typing to you, Electra. And about the exams, I'm revising like heck. I can't take my eyes off the revision papers, except for now and going toilet and jazz like that.
"I'VE NEVER SEEN A DIAMOND IN THE FLESHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Sorry. I'm listening to Lorde's Royals. It's got such a deep meaning, unlike songs today.
"Yeah, let's go to the club, have fun, blahh, blahh, blahhh"
Well, Electra, I better get revising and finish my speech. Byeee!

Letters to Electra: Please Behave Yourself!
23/10/13
Dear Electra,
Seriously, what is going on with my class? They've gone cray-cray! (Well, at least some of them) At least I've got the YMC... Speaking of the YMC, we've got another two members who are not complete in the clique yet. The YMC has three people part of it, and I think it's the smallest clique in our class. It's a boy and a girl, and I can't mention their names though. I won't mention anybody's names in these letters to you because people are actually reading it right now (I know, it's creepy) and if the real people who get mentioned in these letters read it, I'll be up above and down under. No one in my class has to know about our secrets...
Let's clean up the clutter! Today I had cooking class (A.K.A Food and Nutrition) and I'm in the same class as Princess in my form. And guess what he did? He took off his chef hat, put it on my head, and walked away mentioning that he had nits! And to make this day worse, I think Porky likes one of my friends. I have a secret crush (not so secret anymore, is it, Marian?) on him and I'm kind of jealous. I don't want to mention what he did to my friend. I'm just as jealous as a neglected middle child with spoilt siblings.
But seriously, Electra, I need help.

A Letter From My Guardian Angel - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (2)
Hellooo!
Welcome to the second Natalie's Nook and today I will be showing you a letter of what my guardian angel would probably write to me. It's not accurate, it's just an interpretation.
Dear Marian,
Hello there. I'm your guardian angel. It's nice to finally socialise with you properly because I know that you've been waiting for this very moment. I've noticed that you've transformed into a rebel ever since you started to hang out with the crew. Is that true? You've got to be more cautious and aware around the environment you live in please. Anyway, I have to admit: sometimes it's my fault that you fail and even embarrass yourself. Like that time when you fell off that chair. Oh gosh, I'm still chuckling!
I wish I could just be one of your friends. I know that I've been part of your life since you were born, but I want to meet you again in real life. But God said that I can't and I have to keep working out of your sight secretly. I'm sorry.
I will see you in heaven soon and I promise to keep on working to make you a better person everyday. And Mari, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make my job easier by not being negative too much and being positive more.
From,
Your Dear Guardian Angel

Long Time No Talk!
Dear Electra,
Long time no see! (more like long time no talk.) I recently celebrate my birthday last week and I am still exhausted even though that was old news. On the day my class wrote on the board "Happy Birthday Marian!" and they didn't even let the teacher know. It was on Friday the 13th, so the teacher got angry and then we had an assembly during form time and guess what it was about? Regarding to banning devices! It was horrible! It's banned during the end of this term and during next term also. Bye bye, iPod! Even the teachers aren't allowed to use their phones at school too! But that's pretty fair, because it wouldn't influence us students to use ours. But my Science teacher's wife was going to have a baby so he was allowed to use his phone. Lucky Mr. Science teacher. Meh...
Anyway, I have been writing songs and it's based on my real life experiences. I've never wanted to become an artist but ever since I started writing songs (which was just last Monday), I've become more ambitious to become an artist while being an author. Do you think it's possible to do both? Yes, I guess.
Now I have to do my boring homework for English. Bye!

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: Birthday Wishes
Salut!
My birthday is coming next week and I've been thinking about it a lot. My friends and I are gonna have dinner together with my family at a restaurant, so I've been very excited about it.
But for me, the hardest part of having a birthday coming up is thinking of the birthday wishes. My parents and friends are starting to ask me what I would like for my birthday, and I have completely no clue! I already have everything that I need. Friends, family, food, books, aargh!
Luckily, my friends have helped me pick out some wishes. Here are some examples if you have a birthday coming up:
This is the end of this post! See you next, next week!

Luckily, my friends have helped me pick out some wishes. Here are some examples if you have a birthday coming up:
- A brand new start to a brand new career
- To meet your favourite superstar
- Meeting your true love
- To work hard and get a diploma/bachelor's degree in your major (sorry if I get it wrong, I'm not familiar with universities!)
- Getting your favourite item you've been wanting desperately
- Unlimited wishes
- Eternal happiness
- Receiving a unicorn (I know how it feels to not get a unicorn)
- Super powers
This is the end of this post! See you next, next week!

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: My Plans for the Future
Hey, hey, hey!
Ever since I changed the date for TFWJM to every second Friday, I have gotten more productive. Now I can plan and sort out my sequence for TFWJM, Electra and Marian and MEDL. Here goes a new post!
Whenever I hear the question, 'What is your plan for the future, Marian?' I always cringe. I'm not sure why! I already have a plan for the future, but I think that it's not well thought out and organised as others who dream of becoming an engineer or chef.
But here goes my plan:
Ever since last year I've been wanting to graduate my current high school (I'm in middle school and the high school is conjoined with us) and then go to university and become an English major. I will take several courses like writing studies, mathematics, and Of course, I would like to be in a university based in New Zealand because I want to stay close to my friends and family.
And after I graduate my university, I'll get my first real jobs as a professional blogger and a pastry chef at a well-known restaurant.
Later on, I will become a normal adult, get married, have kids, and continue to get more opportunities in life, as long as I try to make an effort everyday.
Bye bye for now!

TFWJM Date Change
Hello everyone! ~
I have noticed that whenever I start to write TFWJM it's always a Thursday and TFWJM was taking lots of my time and times is very precious to me as a student. To make my timetable flexible I have decided to post TFWJM on even weeks (every week B). I hope all of you can understand. I am human and I can get really busy.
Thanks,
Marian

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: 25 Facts About Me!
Hello everybody!
For this week's TFWJM, it is a list of 25 facts about me. Can we just get started?
1) My idol is Marina and the Diamonds
2) My worst weakness is my ability in maths. I hate it also. It seriously gives me the shivers. Eek!
3) But my best strength is my ability to do anything that involves English (that's why I chose to become an amateur blogger).
4) I have never owned a phone that included a camera and access tp internet. The phone I have now is a flip phone. It's kind of cool anyway. And nobody would like a flip phone nowadays.
5) It's impossible for me to write straight if there are no lines on a piece of paper or journal. I plan to write straight then it ends up in a curly, whirly wave. I also have tiny handwriting.
6) I've got the whole collection of Nivea lip balms. There's Milk and Honey, Essentials Care, Pink Guava, Hydro Care, and Repair and Protection.
7) My astrological sign is Virgo. I'm perfectionistic, critical, detail-orientated, try to avoid arguments and judgemental (not to offend fellow Virgos out there).
8) I have a collection of four turtles. Their names are Maria, Pete, Natalie, and Paul (not sure why I named them ordinary names. I named them last year and I couldn't think of anything).
9) I'm obsessed with The Baby-Sitter's Club. I've watched the movie several times, watched lots of episodes, and also read over fifteen books.
10) I've been to America, New Zealand (where I'm living in now), the Philippines (where my ancestors came from), Japan and Malaysia (where I travelled in transit).
11) I'm a multi-lingual.
12) I know how to play Hockey, Badminton, Track and Field, and Netball, but I've never joined in sports teams or relay races (except for my school cross-country and athletics)
13) I'm in the middle of writing four novels now, but they're all top secret. All I can say is that all of them are based upon my life.
14) I hate make-up and tattoos, yet I always watch beauty videos and draw on my hand so it always looks like a tattoo.
15) I've owned a diary for three years in a row (including this year).
16) I own three blogs which are Marian's Everyday Life, Electra and Marian, and Marian the Anime and Vocaloid Lover (which is the inactive one).
17) I hate pink, yet I have a tonne of clothes that are pink.
18) Last year I attempted to become a vegetarian, but everyone tempted me to eat meat and I transferred to being an omnivore again.
19) I love fashion. From thin scarves, to frilly lilac dresses, to ricotta cardigans.
20) Every month I watch too many Youtube videos that my mum keeps on warning me that our gigabytes were gonna run out.
21) I have been hanging out with all he cliques in my class but the Jocks which only consists of four boys and only one (or two, I'm not so sure) girl.
22) I hate art, but I love to paint.
23) Ever since I was a little baby, my father and I would film these Daddy and Daughter shows every so often. But when my younger sister came, it transformed into the Daddy and Daughters show. I felt irritated and it took me a while to get used to it.
24) I still like Barbie movies, but I hate Barbie dolls. They freak me out like heck.
25) And for the final fact, my mother decided to pierce my ears at the very young age of three months. And in the same year I was also forced to shave off all of my hair because I had eczema.
So that was it. I hope you have learnt lots about me and have a fabulous weekened!

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: Favourites for July
For the second update for the TFWJM series, I have decided to do a favourites for July post, since it is the end of July.
They with be split up into 4 categories:
My favourite face wash has been the Garnier Daily Deep Pore Wash. Other than it's rough texture when you rub it on your skin, it leaves a soft feeling to your skin.
And for my favourite moisturiser for the month is the Clean and Clear Daily Essentials Moisturiser.
I do not put on make-up just to note. I hate make-up, yet I watch videos on how to apply it on your face. Weird!
Media time!
I haven't been able to watch much movies this month, but I can say that I just saw X Men: First Class and it has become my favourite movie ever! I love the nostalgic years of how the X Men started. And I can say, young Charles Xavier was cute! X Men: First class is about how young Charles Xavier gathers mutants to form a group of mutants, basically. So if you've watched it, you know how I certainly feel.
My favourite song of the month is Charli XCX's 'What I Like'. It's got such a sick beat at the beginning and then upbeat vocals for the rest of the song. I'm listening to it now and it just motivates me to write this post.
The app that I have been playing non-stop has been Plants vs. Zombies 2 on iPad. It's so hard yet entertaining at the same time! You get to travel back in time to Ancient Egypt to the Pirate Era. The only negative thing about this app is that it helps me to procrastinate a lot and avoid getting fresh air outside.
Literature Favourites:
My favourite book for this month is Ballet Shoes. I haven't finished reading it but it's about three sisters named Pauline, Petrova, and Posy. A man named Matthew (the girls call him GUM) found them separately on boat rides and the three girls eventually become a dancer and actresses. I recommend this novel for those who love ballet and to young teens like me.
And if you're not much of a bookworm, there's a movie to the book. It stars Emma Watson and Richard Griffiths
The word that has been on my mind is Baccalaureate. When I entered the school spelling bee in July, it had been my first word to spell, and luckily I spelled it right! Baccalaureate means a college bachelor's degree.
Random Favourite:
My favourite recipe to bake is Aunty Betty's Strawberry Cream Cake. I only baked it once but it tastes supremely delectable, and I would do anything to get 100 packs for free. I don't know if it would fit in my cupboard though...
That's it! See you guys in Electra and Marian! Enjoy your week!

Postponed!
Good Morning from New Zealand Electra and Marian bloggers!
Where is my 'To Fridays. With Joy, Marian' post? It's because I didn't get to finish it this week because of school. Lots of you may ponder how I balance school and Blogger, and most of you will wonder also about why I'm doing this. To answer the first question, It's because I love to write and Blogger can help my literature skills and my curiosity about becoming an author and journalist to rise.
But, here is the good news. The 'To Fridays, With Joy, Marian' (TFWJM) post will be ready tomorrow. And I can give you a clue on what it is. One word: Favourites. Okay, that was a big clue. Hehe.
See you!

Confusion
Dear Electra,
Lately I have realised that I am always confused. And people think I'm trying to get attention, but no. I'm really confused. I hardly stay focussed and slack of instead. I'm always asking myself to be perfect, but that's impossible! I wish that I am perfect and good at everything. I stutter, fall over, and sometimes concentrate on friendships and music more than school. But I don't have to worry about English, because it's pretty easy. The thing that really bugs me is maths and science, which I don't understand. I think you already know that because of MEDL.
Anyway, yesterday was like living in a lock-out room with my worst enemy (not that I have one). I had three embarrassing moments and it occurred in maths, science, and somewhere else but I forgot where it was. I hate embarrassing moments as much as I hate unhygienic things. It's all part of being a Virgo!

Marian

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: FAQ Time!
This isn't a diary update for Electra from Marian, but an FAQ. I will be doing random segments every Friday like my favourites, tips (any genre), how-tos, etc. I'll think of something!
But for today, it's a FAQ. I'll take five questions to answer and some of you can comment below to ask me some questions. Real people didn't ask me these questions, but I know some of you will ask me these one day.
1) Q: Do you do blogger for money?
A: No, I don't. I chose to do it because I love to write and spelling and writing are my main strengths. I'm not allowed to have it as a job, but probably this will be my head-start to a career when I'm at a much mature age like 15 or 16. I'm just not ready yet.
2) Q: Are you enrolled in a school or home-schooled?
A: I am enrolled in a school. I manage to do my homework first then I go onto blogger and blog!
3) Q: Biggest influence?
A: Others may think that my answer would be Marina and the Diamonds (which is right), but my real influences are Audrey Hepburn and Mother Teresa. Audrey because she had this quote that said "Nothing is impossible. The word say 'I'm possible!" ad Mother Teresa because she was a Roman Catholic and she dedicated her life to others. I'm also a Catholic and she really made a huge impact on my life.
4) Q: Is Samantha still your friend? You haven't mentioned her on this and MEDL blog lately.
A: We rarely talk because she's only valid on the computer on weekends and holidays and we have different timezones. Here in NZ we have our holidays different to Aussie so her mother is like our messenger because she's the one allowed to talk to me on Facebook and Facebook is our only way of contact. I don't have a Skype, Youtube, Yahoo, and she doesn't go on her Gmail always. But we're fine, we're gonna meet up with each other in real life next year!
5) Q: How many languages can you speak?
A: I can speak Tagalog, English, Spanish, 1/99 of Japanese, 1/90 Maori and later on I'm gonna learn how to speak French. To sort this whole thing out, three languages. Salamat po sa inyo! Me llamo Marian. Sayonara and hare rā!
I'll see you later on letters to Electra from Marian!

Exhausted: E-X-H-A-S-T-E-D!
Dear Electra,
Now I am pulling an all-nighter (studying all night) for a couple of subjects and one extra-curricular activity which are Science, Graphics (drawing) and a poem for the Junior Writing Group, and so far, it's been so exhausting and distractions are popping up everywhere! My magazine is next to my work, food is taking over my thoughts and The Sims 2 CD is just right next to me.
I wish homework didn't exist. Geez...
But the actual good part about this whole thing is that Marina and the Diamond's voice is flowing through my speakers and that I'm also on my comfy bed leaning on my huge unicorn pillow pet. Natalie and Pete are next to me and they seem pretty protective just for being turtles.
I'm still in the middle of my poem writing as I write this post and sometimes I just flick through my magazine. Why do distractions exist? Well, they have good properties. Wait... make that everything. Everything has a good property.
Other than that, it's now the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! And I'm not looking forward to it. I'll miss my friends (not that I have some) and my... umm... Nevermind. But even though school is boring, I'm gonna miss it all. I'm gonna be pretty bored for the two weeks also... WHY IS LIFE NOT PERFECT?!?

They're Going to Rainbow Land, haha
Dear Electra,
I loved P.E today. We did nothing even though we were supposed to exercise. Well, in the beginning we were... But later my P.E teacher decided to play two games at once: basketball and hockey. Nearly all of my classmates picked hockey and a small group of us (which was dominated with boys) picked basketball. And my P.E teacher was maintaining the hockey game. So, since our P.E teacher was on the other court, we just played around and just gossiped with the small group of girls. I played a little bit of basketball and I played it in a netball kind of way because netball was my profession. After the small game of basketball (a.k.a net for me) I was going hyper and screaming "Oh my gosh! They're going to rainbow land!" (because people were leaving). After the P.E period ended, we changed our clothes then went home (because it was the final period of school).
I seriously want to do that again. Geez, it was so fun!

Nerves... Why do they exist?!
To Electra,
Ever had that feeling when you crush is starring at you? It's so scary, since he likes other girls.I hope he doesn't like me back, otherwise chaos will occur. And besides, I'm too young for dating (obviously).
Marianettes. I have a feeling that Marianettes is a weird name for my blog readers, because it just reminds you of the type of puppet on strings and wooden sticks. But I'll just keep that name for my blog readers because I have low creativity to come up with another one. Grr.

What's Your Horoscope?
To Electra,
My classmates like each other but don't date. They always seem to be hanging out together and when they are, Yasmin and Christa and I always try to break them up. We are NOT jealous in any way. Oh my gosh. We all hate boys and would never get a boyfriend until we are mature to get one (probably when we're at our first year of university). But who knows? We might start to like them when we get closer to one, which is pretty impossible for us because WE HATE BOYS. (sorry for the capital letters, I'm just expressing how I feel about their species.) Out of us three, I am the most irritable when boys get close to me. I attack them immediately (except for the nice but weird guys). And you think that those boys who hang out with the girl are nice? Think again. They're filled with cheekiness but that doesn't make them any more attractive, even by 0.1%. Oh. My. Glob.
Change of Topic. Today I was finding out my classmate and teacher's horoscopes. They seemed very annoyed with it, but I still kept my cool. I think. I tried to find a classmate or teacher with the horoscope Pisces and I found one. Luckily, it was a guy. Phew. I forgot to mention, I am a Virgo and my reason why I was trying to find a Pisces was because on a website I found out that Pisces doesn't go along with Virgo. But it's different to me because the Pisces guy is a little bit nice. Oh, my, glob.
I'm tired. Bye.

Long Time No Posts!
I'm very sorry for not posting anything ever since I changes the title. What has been going on inside my mind recently? Well, I just had tests that were extremely simple that I think to myself I can recite the answers myself off by heart and that I had such a good day today that I actually made my whole class laugh! I love to see others being so cheerful and happy.
But I have my negative thoughts too. I miss my best friend Samantha (a.k.a Miko Meeks). She's been off to Australia since the last day of my primary school last year. Man, I miss her so much. But my mum said that friends come and go. I technically don't believe in that. They stay in your heart, don't they?
Which reminds me, I love to ship my classmates together. I mean, there are so many cute couples I can make out of all my classmates! But I don't ship anyone with me. I really don't suit anyone. I hate the boys in my class. Good thing I've got super quick reflexes that help me grab what was stolen from me. I consider myself lucky.
I think this is about all of my recent thoughts I've been thinking nowadays! Bye Electra!

Hello bloggers! I am changing the name of this blog to Electra and Marian, because this blog's name is too long. But don't worry because I'll keep the url the same so you won't have to stress about finding my blog.
Electra and Marian is about my diary named Electra and me writing in it. It will be about mostly my thoughts but I will keep on posting about other random things. But get ready for a new beginning...

A message for classmates
WARNING: This is a very emotional post. If you simply hate complaining, sadness, anger, or anything bad, please ignore this message. This is aiming JUST FOR MY CLASSMATES FOR 2013. At my school.
If you can handle all of the warnings above, you have permission to proceed.
Dear classmates of 2013,
Do you know why I always cry? Is it because I'm an emo? Is it because I am not good at anything but English? No. It's because of Miko Meeks (Samantha) and puberty. I know you all are also going through it too, but I have reached it at such an early age. Last year. (Haha!)
Where is Samantha now? She's in the country next door to New Zealand. And without her, I struggle to make new friends. You think I'm outgoing? Nope. That's Natalie Kinly. Angelica Bell is the negative side, while Natalie Kinly is the 'happy go lucky' side (aka positive). And together, they make Marian Yao, amateur blogger, super speller, and the most dorkiest girl in the whole wide country.
Back on Samantha! Samantha was (and still is) my best friend back in primary. We've been best friends for two years, and she was the snooze button to my alarm clock. We were glued to each other because she was the only true friend I had. She boosted my self esteem, made me more confident when I was doing scary stuff and did extreme things along with me. We hardly fought too.
I try my best to change. Did you notice me reading a book at formtime period this morning? It was not usual to see me being really engaged in a book. And whenever I don't cry, in the inside, I am really desperate for help. Notice how I was quiet? I WAS MAD.
And that's why I listen to Marina and the Diamonds. (Christa would know what I mean. Ask her.)
From,
Marian Yao.
Goodbye.

Ancient Items #1
Now that I am having a 2-week break from school, I have the freedom to fix up the things that I have accidentally ditched because of crates of schoolwork.
This post is about the things that I have found inside my messy closet. All things were from when I just arrived in New Zealand.
That's it now for this dias (day). Hasta la vista!

Hello Kitty Craze!
My apologies for not posting often on this blog.
But you should be happy that I have not much homework to do and have time to post!
I have a secret (not anymore) stash of Hello Kitty merchandise hiding all over the house (yes, I'm not the only one that has Hello Kitty in the household). My sister and mother (NOT MY FATHER OKAY!) are the ones responsible for giving and buying me merchandise. From tape to a handheld fan.
I will show you, lovely audience.
NOTE: All of these products were bought from the Philippines. Don't get too jealous. Geez.
Okay! That's the end! Until next time! Hasta la vista!
Now thanks to this post, I gotta tidy up this mess.

Back to School: How to Live a Happy and Healthy Life (Day 7)
Since it's the last day of posting Back to School with Sn'NBn'B, here are my last-minute tips on how to live a healthy and happy school life.
1. Stay Organized
This is an important tip because it will be terrible to have such a messy desk/locker. It will also affect your grades too because you won't be able to find the right papers for a particular subject.
2. Balance School with Sports
It is essential to be active and intelligent at the same time, so try to balance sports with school. School first. sports second.
3. Have Clean Skin
Having dirty skin can cause pimples and blackheads especially when you're in the puberty stage. Remember to carry some wipes and moisturizer and use them when it gets hot and sticky and after P.E.
4. Don't Be Afraid to Ask
If you are having a problem at school or at home, don't be afraid to ask! Parents, guidance counsellors, and teachers are there for a reason.
5. Relax!
New to high school or university? Have schoolwork like never before? Always running late? Relax! Stressing can release more pimples and make your heart accelerate. Breathe in, breathe out. You're gonna be fine. Good Luck!
It has been so much fun making Back to School posts for you all. Thank you for reading all of my posts and to those who are going to school/work, good luck again!

Back to School: School Situations (Day 6)
Today I will show you three school situations that happen to most people and I will help you solve them.
1. Popular/mean Girls
Don't bash them. Just ignore. But when she has reached your limit, talk to her and look at her directly in the eye.
2. Quiz and Project Overload
Oh no! You were so busy with sports that you forgot to get ready for a big exam coming up! If your homework has the same deadline, go from level 1-10- I mean, easiest to hardest. But if a project's due tomorrow and homework is due the next week, immediately start on the project!
3. Rumour Has It
Everybody says and thinks you have a huge pimple on your back! (So not true!) Tell your parents and teachers about the people who are spreading the rumour and it's not true.
Hope these tips were helpful! Tomorrow is the last day of the Back to School with Sn'NBn'B and I would like to thank you all for reading the posts. See you tomorrow!

Back to School: Stationary Haul! (Day 4)
Finally! My stationary for school has arrived! Some items are not stationary and one of them you've seen before.
I'm posting from an iPad so the photos will be at the end of the post.
I just got the folder yesterday for my books so I don't have to slouch carrying my heavy school bag full of books. At my school we have five classes (periods) per day, but I have more than five books (more of my books were in my room when I shot that photo).
Day five tomorrow! Stay tuned for it! Bye!

Back to School: Healthy Lunch Ideas (Day 5)
If you've gone over junk food or craving for healthy food, here are some of my ideas. I will show you four combos to choose from:
1: Cheese and vita wheat crackers, sultana buds, strawberry tarts and rasins.
2: Natural yoghurt (or fruit yoghurt), trail mix, potato and tomato frittata and dried prunes.
3: Baked potatoes with cheese, your favourite fruit cereal bars, and baby carrots.
4: Cheese scones, oatmeal, celery with peanut butter and cheese.
I use a green Sistema lunch box and a white water bottle to store my lunch and water in.

Back to School: School Outfits (Day 2)
Day 2 of Back to School by Stuff n' Nonsense... Bits n' Bobs
My school has a uniform but I would like to make a post of nice back to school outfits if my school allowed us to wear anything we want. There will be five outfits and some of them are not available in stores but I'll just type it down where I got it from. But if I don't know/remember where it got it from, I'll just name the brand.
My bracelet which is seen in every photo is given by my mother.
Hope you enjoyed today's post! Watch out for tomorrow's post. Bye-bye!
