Confusion

Dear Electra,

Lately I have realised that I am always confused. And people think I'm trying to get attention, but no. I'm really confused. I hardly stay focussed and slack of instead. I'm always asking myself to be perfect, but that's impossible! I wish that I am perfect and good at everything. I stutter, fall over, and sometimes concentrate on friendships and music more than school. But I don't have to worry about English, because it's pretty easy. The thing that really bugs me is maths and science, which I don't understand. I think you already know that because of MEDL.

Anyway, yesterday was like living in a lock-out room with my worst enemy (not that I have one). I had three embarrassing moments and it occurred in maths, science, and somewhere else but I forgot where it was. I hate embarrassing moments as much as I hate unhygienic things. It's all part of being a Virgo!

To Fridays. With Joy, Marian: FAQ Time!

This isn't a diary update for Electra from Marian, but an FAQ. I will be doing random segments every Friday like my favourites, tips (any genre), how-tos, etc. I'll think of something!

But for today, it's a FAQ. I'll take five questions to answer and some of you can comment below to ask me some questions. Real people didn't ask me these questions, but I know some of you will ask me these one day.

1) Q: Do you do blogger for money?
A: No, I don't. I chose to do it because I love to write and spelling and writing are my main strengths. I'm not allowed to have it as a job, but probably this will be my head-start to a career when I'm at a much mature age like 15 or 16. I'm just not ready yet.

2) Q: Are you enrolled in a school or home-schooled?
A: I am enrolled in a school. I manage to do my homework first then I go onto blogger and blog!

3) Q: Biggest influence?
A: Others may think that my answer would be Marina and the Diamonds (which is right), but my real influences are Audrey Hepburn and Mother Teresa. Audrey because she had this quote that said "Nothing is impossible. The word say 'I'm possible!" ad Mother Teresa because she was a Roman Catholic and she dedicated her life to others. I'm also a Catholic and she really made a huge impact on my life.

4) Q: Is Samantha still your friend? You haven't mentioned her on this and MEDL blog lately.
A: We rarely talk because she's only valid on the computer on weekends and holidays and we have different timezones. Here in NZ we have our holidays different to Aussie so her mother is like our messenger because she's the one allowed to talk to me on Facebook and Facebook is our only way of contact. I don't have a Skype, Youtube, Yahoo, and she doesn't go on her Gmail always. But we're fine, we're gonna meet up with each other in real life next year!

5) Q: How many languages can you speak?
A: I can speak Tagalog, English, Spanish, 1/99 of Japanese, 1/90 Maori and later on I'm gonna learn how to speak French. To sort this whole thing out, three languages. Salamat po sa inyo! Me llamo Marian. Sayonara  and hare rā!

I'll see you later on letters to Electra from Marian!

Exhausted: E-X-H-A-S-T-E-D!

Dear Electra,

Now I am pulling an all-nighter (studying all night) for a couple of subjects and one extra-curricular activity which are Science, Graphics (drawing) and a poem for the Junior Writing Group, and so far, it's been so exhausting and distractions are popping up everywhere! My magazine is next to my work, food is taking over my thoughts and The Sims 2 CD is just right next to me.
I wish homework didn't exist. Geez...

But the actual good part about this whole thing is that Marina and the Diamond's voice is flowing through my speakers and that I'm also on my comfy bed leaning on my huge unicorn pillow pet. Natalie and Pete are next to me and they seem pretty protective just for being turtles.

I'm still in the middle of my poem writing as I write this post and sometimes I just flick through my magazine. Why do distractions exist? Well, they have good properties. Wait... make that everything. Everything has a good property.

Other than that, it's now the LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL! And I'm not looking forward to it. I'll miss my friends (not that I have some) and my... umm... Nevermind. But even though school is boring, I'm gonna miss it all. I'm gonna be pretty bored for the two weeks also... WHY IS LIFE NOT PERFECT?!?

From,
Marian
