26/2/14
Dear Electra,
I'm now in health, but we're not actually learning about health. Instead, we are watching the year nine-thirteen athletics. But since this is what I consider 'free time', I will write to you. My classmates are throwing popcorn and I can't stop singing. Regina is right next to me talking about the world (I can't interpret what she's saying because I am speaking to you) and watching the people sprint slowly or rapidly. You should see the sprinters' faces.
At lunchtime I went to the music suite and it felt so good to play the guitar and keyboard there. I felt a little bit lonely because I had decided to go to the suite instead of hanging out with the Three Musketeers. They were probably stalking Noah, Regina's new crush. I wonder how Gwen must've felt while me and Regina stalk our 'idols'.
Everytime I play musical instruments (despite that I can only play one) or sing I feel like Marina, Martina, Jorge, Lodovica, Charli, Mercedes, Elizabeth, and Ella are there hugging me and saying that underneath all that pain is happiness. Sounds cliché, I know, but it feels perfect.

A Reply to my Guardian Angel - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (15)
Ciaooo!
Last year on the second edition of Natalie's Nook I wrote a letter about what my guardian angel would say to me. Today, I'm going to respond to that letter (isn't it weird to reply to a letter written by yourself?) reflecting upon what 'they' said to me.
Dear Guardian Angel,
It was very interesting to receive a letter from you unexpectedly. Have I really turned into a rebel? I should be cautious on who I hang out with. Everything has pretty much changed since last year. I guess it's the new year's fault, right? Yes, dear guardian angel. I will improve on treating others correctly. I'v learnt my lessons.
Hey, everybody makes mistakes! I'm glad that I got over it quickly. I was being extremely stupid and lost my sense of mind.
You are my friend! But you're more like the best-est friend I've ever had and will be better than my future ones. I already know you and thank you for coping with my horrible shenanigans.
Yes, guardian angel. I look forward to meeting you in the future. Thank you for letting me experience life to the fullest and for realising that nothing is perfect, but everything up above is.
Thank you for being there when I needed you.

Letters to Electra - My Valentine's Day
19/2/14
Dear Electra,
This valentine's day tradition sickens me. It's not the 'lovey-dovey' part that bothers me, it's the 'needing a valentine like it's oxygen' part that does. It's so cute to see couples together purely loving each other (especially old couples. Eee!).
At school they're selling flowers and you can send one to your 'love' anonymously. Regina is planning to give one to her's, but I heard that they cost a lot! $5?!? Are you kidding?!? I'm glad that I don't have a valentine. I'm too young anyway! Wait, I'm thinking of the twelvies who have a 'boyfriend'. Can we please not go there?
My day started off very nicely. My whole family greeted each other and gave hugs and kisses and meanwhile at school it was like another normal school day but with flowers and bears and everything 'lovey-dovey' everywhere (I'd consider that as a very contagious disease).
In J-Rock me and Gwen got sorted into the Popstars group! Regina meanwhile is in the Astronauts group. I'm dying to learn the choreography in Popstars!
I'm getting really busy. I just started this letter five minutes ago because of homework and time. Grrr!

Valentine's Day's Pros and Cons - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (14)
Valentine's Day, the annual event for expressing how desperate you are for love. But I gotta admit, I thirst for love and attention. I'm glad that I don't have a crush at school, otherwise I would have random spasms. (Hm, that's basically Regina!)
As it says on the title, these are of the pros and cons of Valentine's day.

Letters to Electra - A Very Important Person
12/2/14
We're voting for 'student of the week' as I write. I'm going to vote for Regina because she's a very... um... interesting girl and best friend! (This makes me the worst best friend in the history of best friends...) I can't vote for Gwen because she's in a different class :(
Yesterday I had my first singing lesson and it was an audition. What can I say? IT WAS A TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT. I sang on the wrong cues, was too awkward and didn't utter a word unless I was asked a question, and don't even get me on the worst one, which was sweating like crazy!
So today I got put into a lesson time (can you actually believe that I got in?!?). I'll have to go to the music suite every Monday after interval. Next to my name, I saw someone very unexpected who is going to have to take lessons along with me. I can't talk about that person, but I am very surprised. My jaw dropped when I saw the name. Regina and Gwen already know who, but I prefer to not talk about it. All I can tell you is that 'it' played a very important part in my past life. I'll tell you when I'm ready.

Developing a Character - ♡ Natalie's Nook ♡ (13)
7/2/14
I've been creating a lot of personas and characters ever since I got introduced to books. From Angie, to Natalie, to Pete.
When I was eleven I attempted to write a novel based upon Natalie and her life. I slacked off and never wrote anything in it because I got too busy with school and blogging. So as I remember the 'novel', I'm going to show you how to create a character.
1) Personality
This is probably the most important one and my favourite part of when coming up with new characters. The thing about personalities is that there's no one who exactly has the same as yours, except if you clone your character. Never forget to put in the smallest of details. They're also important.
2) Name
Try to make a connection between the name and the personality your character has. Is he a very popular and sporty boy who has many secrets? Name him with a title that seems popular, but not really heard often.
3) Who, What, When, Why, and How
Who is s/he? What is their role in the story? When were they born? Why did they decide to do particular actions? Adding these basic information will tell the reader what's going on.
4) Think of their weaknesses, strengths, and goals
This makes the character find his/her destiny at the end and throughout the story.
5) Pretend that you're the character you're creating
Be careful on this one, because people might think that you're acting very different (except if your character is based upon yourself), especially if you're role playing as your antagonist! As you pretend, think deeper and collect ideas. Also, interview your character. Ask them a variety of questions they would hate, about their personal life, and would prefer to be asked.
Thank you for reading this very short post! I'll see you next week for a Letter to Electra on Wednesday!

Letters to Electra - Co-curricular Activities?
5/2/14
Dear Electra,
I'm in science class and the computer which is going to show us a video is not working, so I'd decided to write to you.
So I'm going to talk to you about what's been happening in school so far. I'm planning to join J-Rock, the year seven and eight version of Stage Challenge, which is a dance competition against other schools. I'm also going to join singing lessons, badminton, and the junior writing group (if it goes on, because the teacher-in-charge resigned) and Litquiz, a regional, national, and international quiz about literature and popular children's/teen books. My friend told me that Lorde joined and travelled to South Africa to compete in the internationals!
Yay! The computer is now working! We're going to watch a video about sea life and will probably enjoy it, because watching is better than hurting your hand writing never-ending notes.
